Over the past few years remote work has massively grown in popularity - for very obvious reasons! However let’s not forget that many freelancers have been successfully navigating the world of remote work long before we ever heard the word ‘Covid’. While it's true that remote work isn't for everyone and does come with its own set of challenges, the benefits far outweigh any potential drawbacks in my opinion. The flexibility and freedom that freelancing or working from home in general offer can be truly transformative.

As a print designer I’ve never been scared of using pattern - the more pattern the better as far as I’m concerned! The endless possibilities of different colour combinations, shapes, and motifs continuously inspire me so naturally our home itself incorporates a lot of different prints and pattern.

I'm Frances, a freelance print designer with a passion for all things design and creativity. After working in-house in London for several years, I now find myself freelancing from my home in York, where I live with my fiancé Ben - who is also a full time creative. We recently renovated our Victorian home to serve not only as a living space but also as a working studio where we can both pursue our various creative passions!
